On Saturday 31st October 2009 Australian Outback Spectacular 2 'Heroes of the Light Horse' will pay tribute to the armed forces and commemorate the famous historical charge made by the Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade back in 1917.
Exactly 92 years since the historical charge, the stockmen and women of Australian Outback Spectacular 2 'Heroes of the Light Horse' will perform in a commemorative one-off 12.30pm matinee show on Saturday 31st October.

Australian Outback Spectacular 2 'Heroes of the Light Horse' is a live show complete with music, drama, action and spectacular visual effects, and aided by clips from the film, 'The Lighthorsemen', we follow our troops on the long, dry march to the outskirts of Beersheba in Palestine, and the famous charge against entrenched artillery, machine guns and infantry to take and secure the precious wells of Beersheba.
At this exclusive one-off 12.30pm matinee lunch time performance you’ll enjoy a delicious 3 course Aussie BBQ lunch and commemorate the link between our stockmen and the legendary Australian Light Horse - which was predominantly made up of 'boys from the bush', with official armed service men and women.
